About the expert: Désirée Dosch is owner and managing partner of the consulting firm Alvicus AG and a member of the board of directors of the stock exchange-listed company Xlife Sciences. In her capacity at Alvicus AG, she invests in various startups in the DACH region, offering guidance and advice on growth and market entry. Additionally, she consults corporates on segment and growth strategies with a focus on female customers, the next generation, and tomorrow’s leaders. Before venturing into self-employment, Désirée held various management positions in the insurance and finance industry. She completed her MBA with a focus on corporate strategy in Australia and South Korea.
Female Founders at Impact Hub Basel: Women are still underrepresented in almost all positions in our economy, politics and society. In the Swiss startup scene, female founders have a share of around 20%, but the differences are even greater for innovation and growth-based start-ups. The Impact Hub Basel is taking an active role in strengthening the female founders network in our region. With the Female Founders Coworking Morning Basel we aim at providing upskilling opportunities and a safe space for founders to connect, share their stories, collaborate and empower each-other.
